2. Get verified
Verification is central to how Troobondr works:
- Everyone completes a live selfie / photo verification.
- Men complete government-ID verification (via DigiLocker) before they can send messages.
- Your Trust Score starts building from day one and grows with positive behaviour, profile completeness and clean history.
Verified profiles receive a clear badge so others can see them at a glance.

3. Set preferences & discover matches
Tell us what matters to you — relationship intent, lifestyle, interests and (if you choose) cultural or regional preferences. You can also enable optional filters that help surface more compatible people.
Instead of endless random swipes, you'll see curated daily matches alongside people who are active nearby. You stay in control of who sees your face and additional photos.
4. Match with intention
When two people like each other, it's a match. From there the conversation rules are designed for respect:
- Women-first messaging — women have a 48-hour window to start the conversation.
- Men cannot message first.
- Message limits for men help reduce low-effort spam.

5. Chat safely
Once a conversation begins you can:
- Send text, voice notes, GIFs and photos
- Start an in-app video call when you're ready
- Use disappearing messages (where available)
- Block or report anyone in a single tap
All messages are protected with encryption. Screenshot alerts notify you if someone captures your photos or chat.
6. Stay in control offline
When you decide to meet in person:
- Choose a busy public place
- Share your live location with a trusted contact
- Use the Emergency Panic Button if you ever feel unsafe — one tap shares your location and switches the app to a neutral screen
