Is Troobondr free?
Yes. The core experience — swipes, core messaging, verification and discovery — is free for everyone. Troobondr Premium adds convenience features only.

Why does Troobondr require verification?
Because a dating app is only as safe as its community. Verification is how we make “real” mean real — it is the foundation of trust and the reason our community feels safer.
How does verification work?
Women complete selfie verification. Men complete government-ID verification via DigiLocker plus a live selfie liveness check before they can message anyone.
What happens with my ID data?
ID data is used solely for verification. It is stored securely, never shown publicly, and handled in compliance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act.
How do I increase my Trust Score?
Complete verification, build a complete and honest profile, interact positively, and maintain a clean behavioural history. Higher scores mean better visibility and more matches.
Matching & Women-First Messaging
How does the 48-hour women-first messaging rule work?
After a match, only the woman can start the conversation, within a 48-hour window. Men cannot message first. This creates mutual-interest conversations and reduces spam.
Can men still match and chat?
Yes. Men match freely and chat once the woman opens the conversation. Men have reasonable message limits to keep outreach thoughtful.
Do verified profiles match better?
Yes. Verified profiles with higher Trust Scores receive prioritised visibility and consistently better matches.

What is the Panic Button?
A one-tap safety feature that shares your live location with a trusted contact and switches the app to a neutral screen. Built for real-world emergencies.
Do I get screenshot alerts?
Yes. You are notified the moment someone screenshots your photos or chat, and you can enable auto-blur on detection.
Can I hide my face?
Yes. Use blur-face until mutual match and keep additional photos private until you choose to unlock them.
Can I delete my data?
Yes. You can request permanent account and data deletion at any time, in line with India's DPDP Act.

What is the refund policy?
If you're unsatisfied, contact support within the refund window stated in our Terms and we'll make it right.
How do I cancel?
Cancel anytime from your account settings. Premium stays active until your current billing period ends.
