Our shared commitment
Troobondr is a community built on trust, safety and mutual respect. These guidelines explain what we expect from every member and what happens if they are broken. By using Troobondr, you agree to follow these standards — and to help keep this space kind and safe for everyone.
The short version: be a real, decent human being, treat others how you want to be treated, and respect boundaries. The detailed version follows.
1. Be a real person
- Create one honest profile that represents the real you.
- Use recent, genuine photos. No misleading, edited or borrowed pictures.
- Never create fake, duplicate or parody accounts.
- Never impersonate another person or public figure.
- Complete verification when asked — verification is what keeps this community safe.
2. Be kind and respectful
- We believe in politeness and civility. Unkindness is not tolerated.
- No slurs, offensive language, hate speech or discrimination of any kind — including based on gender, religion, caste, region, sexual orientation or disability.
- No bullying, intimidation, threats, stalking or repeated unwanted contact.
- Respect someone's “no” — the first time they set a boundary, that is final.
- No sexual harassment, explicit content without consent, or sharing intimate imagery.
This is a zero-tolerance area. Serious violations lead to immediate, permanent bans.
3. Be honest about your intentions
- State your intentions honestly on your profile.
- Don't mislead people about your identity, marital status, profession, income or relationship goals.
- No romance or investment scams, advance-fee fraud, or any attempt to extract money under false pretences.
- No soliciting or commercial activity of any kind.
4. Respect privacy and consent
- Never share someone else's personal information or private content without permission.
- Never screenshot, record or otherwise capture another member's photos or chat without consent.
- Respect in-app features — including the women-first messaging rule and blur-face privacy.
- Do not pressure anyone to share contact details, photos or intimate content before they are ready.
5. Keep it safe
- Never ask for or share OTPs, passwords, bank or card details, or photos of identity documents.
- Never arrange payments or financial transactions with members you haven't met in person.
- Report anything that feels unsafe or wrong — trust your instincts.
6. Protect minors
- Troobondr is strictly for adults aged 18 and above.
- Never interact with, or share sexual content involving, minors. This is prohibited absolutely and is a serious crime.
- Report any account you suspect belongs to a minor so we can act immediately.
7. Report, block and unmatch
- Use Block to stop any member contacting you.
- Use Report for anything that breaches these guidelines — it's anonymous and they won't be notified.
- You can unmatch at any time, for any reason.
8. What happens when rules are broken
Our Trust & Safety team reviews every report, uses automated detection, and takes action proportionate to the violation:
- Warnings for minor issues.
- Temporary suspension (7–30 days) for moderate or repeat violations.
- Permanent ban for severe violations such as harassment, non-consensual content, fraud, hate speech, or attempts to harm members.
- We cooperate fully with law enforcement when required by law.
We also action certain issues proactively — including minor protection and intimate-imagery takedowns, where the law demands immediate action.
The boundaries
These guidelines protect the community, but they cannot cover every situation. We use judgment, fairness and the spirit of these rules to act in the best interest of the community. Unusual behaviour that harms the experience — even if not listed above — can still result in action.
If you have questions about these guidelines or need to appeal a decision, contact our Trust & Safety team. Human moderators are involved in all significant decisions; automation never makes removal decisions alone for serious cases.
Keep our community warm, kind and safe.
